One of our passions at TGB Outdoor Design is the idea of creating aesthetically pleasing, high yielding food production areas.
We can build vegetable gardens of all shapes and sizes as well as incorporating berries, fruit trees, herbs and chickens as extra options to give you a comprehensive selection of home grown food.
The principles of these gardens can be designed and managed with efficient and organic practices to ensure maximum nourishment.
Teedo was responsible for bringing major beneficial change to our home. Originally our back yard was neither one thing nor the other .A relatively small area of grass on sloping terrain and incorporating a selection of nondescript plants.
Teedo designed a superb landscaped garden for us and then built it precisely according to plan.
Clever use of materials levelled the site. Inclusion of a range of hardy plants significantly reduced the need for watering. Maintenance has been substantially eliminated.
Visually, the end result has been a huge success. We consistently receive complimentary remarks from visitors who are astounded at the transformation which has been brought about.

We commissioned Teedo Beggs to landscape our property in Mount Macedon. The distinguishing qualities that determined our decision to go with Teedo were his knowledge of indigenous/native horticulture, his understanding of and familiarity with the gardens of Mount Macedon, and his ability to help us to articulate and visualize our own garden on what was a modern architectural structure on a sloping building site.
The ‘landscape challenges’ Teedo took on were significant, beginning with a sharply sloping block, significant ‘drainage’ issues, and the presence of large forest eucalyptus trees that we wished to keep. Teedo was able to masterfully incorporate our desire to create a garden that would complement or enhance the sharp angular features of the architecture, protect existing vegetation, include and incorporate native/indigenous plantings, build dry rock retention walls, and provide us with a beautiful outdoor living space that we desperately needed.
Teedo’s approach to his work impressed us from the outset because of his uncompromising high standards and attention to detail. We are exceedingly proud of what Teedo was able to realize and we highly recommend his work- without reservation.

We first engaged Teedo from TGB Outdoor Design to develop a master plan for our property. During this process Teedo took into consideration all of our needs ranging from how we intended to use the spaces through to budget. What was produced was an excellent overall design which met all our needs and could be constructed in a staged approach.
Post the design Teedo and his team have brought the master plans to life and we could not be happier with the results, particularly the outdoor entertaining area with its bespoke hexagonal pavers and elevated decking which overlooks the re-modelled dam.
We would have no hesitations in recommending TGB design (and have done so to many friends!), it was a pleasure to work with him and his team on our project.
